Coracle World Championships is taking place on Friday 13th September 2024 at the Pengwern Boat Club, Shrewsbury. Teams of 4 paddle a traditional coracle boat in a relay race across the River Severn, with the winners being crowned World Champions! To enter a team, please click on the Register button opposite. As well as being great fun, the aim of the event is to raise money for the vital services provided by Macmillan Cancer Support. In total, this event has raised over £380,000. This page collates everyone's fundraising efforts, the generous donations from the teams and their supporters and with your help we are going to beat 2023's fantastic total of £29,500! All the money raised through this event will go towards helping people living with and affected by cancer in Shrophire. Come along and join us for a splashing Friday afternoon on the river!
