About us
Welcome to the Macmillan Cancer Support Falkirk Friends Fundraising page. As the name says, we are a friendly bunch of individuals who all live in the Falkirk area and gather together to help raise vital funds for Macmillan. We are involved in everything from bucket collections to coffee mornings, quiz nights to fashion shows, you name it and we will give it a try. We have even abseiled off the top of our famous landmark, The Falkirk Wheel. You may have seen us around the area in our signature green. Our happy band has been raising funds for Macmillan since 2010 with over £100,000 raised to date. We couldn’t do it without the fantastic support we get from everyone in our local community.
We are always looking for ways to help raise funds. You may have an idea for a fundraising venture and would like some support, or perhaps you would like to help with a bucket collection or man a fundraising stall. Perhaps you just want to find out more about how you can support Macmillan.
If you would like to get in touch with us please email our lovely treasure Lorna at [email protected]
About Macmillan Cancer Support
Macmillan Cancer Support has spent more than 100 years helping people living with cancer. We know that cancer can disrupt your whole life. And it can be made worse simply because of who you are and where you live.
But we’re here to change that.
The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, and every one of them needs the best support to meet their unique needs.
That's why we'll do whatever it takes to help everyone living with cancer across the UK get the support they need right now and transform cancer care for everyone who will be diagnosed in the future.
Help us reach the people living with cancer who need us most. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk.
The Falkirk Friends is a group of volunteers who fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support, registered charity in England and Wales (261017), Scotland (SC039907) and the Isle of Man (604), also operating in Northern Ireland.
