Macmillan Dorset Bike Ride Group

About us

The Macmillan Dorset Bike Ride was founded in 1989 by Peter Smith-Nicholls.

In 1988 Peter cycled from John O Groats to Land End to raise funds for Macmillan. The Dorset Bike Ride is his way of continuing that fund raising. The event normally takes place annually on the first Sunday in July and starts and finishes at Corfe Mullen Recreation Ground Badbury View Road.
