Market Harborough Group

About us

The Market Harborough Group is a small team of volunteers who raise money in various ways for the many Macmillan Services, the Nurses, the Doctors and all the health professionals needed to support patients and their families living with and beyond cancer.  The Group was formed over 50 years ago and is proud of the work they continue to do.

Pictured is the INFOPOINT sited at HOME INSTEAD at 32 St Mary’s Road Market Harborough LE16 7DU.   Open 9-5 Monday to Friday and 10-4 on Saturday. A welcoming place where anyone can pop in and pick up booklets on the different kinds of cancer and also obtain details of where to get advice on issues such as financial support including grants and benefits. Also, where and how to obtain help.

Macmillan Support Line: 7 days a week 8am – 8pm – 0808 8080 00 00

Macmillan services are urgently needed now more than ever but they simply can’t continue them without your help.

About Macmillan Cancer Support

Macmillan Cancer Support has spent more than 100 years helping people living with cancer. We know that cancer can disrupt your whole life. And it can be made worse simply because of who you are and where you live.

But we’re here to change that.

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, and every one of them needs the best support to meet their unique needs.

That's why we'll do whatever it takes to help everyone living with cancer across the UK get the support they need right now and transform cancer care for everyone who will be diagnosed in the future.

Help us reach the people living with cancer who need us most.  To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk.

The Market Harborough Committee is a group of volunteers who fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support, registered charity in England and Wales (261017), Scotland (SC039907) and the Isle of Man (604), also operating in Northern Ireland.
